If you know computers or you're good with analyzing patterns and numbers, there's plenty of opportunity for you in Central Florida.

More than 21 firms ranging from defense technology to the restaurant industry have jobs available in the field of software development, information technology, manufacturing engineering, video game development, business analysis, graphic design and more. In total, the firms are hiring 1,132 workers.

Many of these jobs are considered high-wage, too. Computer and math jobs, such as software developer, program developer and information technology, pay an average annual salary of $75,000, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Business and financial analysts make an average of $77,000 per year.
